I have what I suspect is a blocked nozzle on my Epson 895. The yellow part
of the test print only prints the first line and a small part of the second
line. All other colours are spot on. It's about three years old and never
given me any gyp.

I have put a new cartridge in, left it overnight and done several nozzle
checks, makes no difference. Also done a purge.

Should I get a cleaning cartridge?

Can someone detail the windolene 'trick'? I have looked in the archive and
found references to this, but not what to actually do with the windolene.

I want to get the printer working as I've had a few profiles done and could
do without the expense of a new printer plus profiles. Another possibility
is a new head, does anyone know the rough cost? Is it something that could
be tackled by oneself?

Regards

Paul
