I have switched to Canon from Olympus 35mm and Mamiya 645. I have a 28mm PC-nikkor adapted to fit the Olympus and a 35mm Canon Tilt Shift also to fit the Olympus. Thanks to adapters from Cameraquest.com I can now use both of these lenses on my new Canon 1ds. When the Mamiya Adapter arrives I will have a 55mm PC lens too.
A test with the PC-Nikkor shows no problems whatsoever when used with the 1ds chip and the knob is well clear.
SRB are suppliers of many useful filter rings and other stuff and can also do specialised machining of things like microscope rings.
