For cloning I use the usual option/left click to select and left click to clone, the 5 buttons mouse don't help a lot for this task, but I use it to navigate during the cleaning process to explore the entire picture without forgiving any place.
The wheel alone allows me to scroll up and down, and holding down the shift key makes me navigate laterally. Holding the Option key when using the wheel makes me zoom in/out.
Unfortunately I didn't succeed to navigate up/down and laterally at the same speed (at the same amount).
I have the Version 5.0 of the Intelli-mouse driver. Dedicated to PS CS, under "Defilement" (the button at the right side) I had checked the two boxes and selected the maximum speed.
If somebody have some useful shortcuts for the 5 button mouse I would be very interested to read about.
Does somebody use the 8 buttons one? Is it handy?
Best regards.
BTW, the right button of the mouse brought me up the the brushes window under my pointer.

Instead, I enjoy my Microsoft five button mouse. On Ps Cs I have the undo command under my thumb, the wheel allows me to navigate through pictures (shift for lateral move) (I use it for removing dust stains),
I have tried to do this using the MS inteli mouse, which is 5 buttoned and
yes the frame scrolls up and down, but I can't get it to clone. How do you
have the scroll setup.
