Did you or someone else change the password at some point. If you know the address of the router and can get to the password screen you could try 1-2-3-4 and see if it works. If you have the documentation that came with the router it should give the factory set password that you can use to access the router and make changes. None of this will work if you (or someone else) changed the password and forgot it. Usually the router has an address like 192.168.0.1 and this address is in the info that came with it.
