Since the initial introduction of the Pro SLR/n, several customers have
identified a "magenta" hue shift on the ends of some of their images.

The firmware currently released for the Pro SLR/n was originally designed
to eliminate this type of hue shift though a static adjustment to the
optical calibration in the camera. However, it does not appear to cover
all possible permutations resulting from the wide variety of lens and
shooting variables.

The availability of new DCS Pro SLR/n firmware release 4.5.5 (available
shortly) includes a number of additional lens characterizations, however,
the nature of the static optical calibrations included in the current
level 4.x firmware will not address all possible lens and shooting
combinations.

The feedback from customers who are exposing the camera to an broad range
of conditions (a vast array of both scene and lens variables) has provided
extremely beneficial information back to Kodak - information that is being
leveraged into an advanced solution.

Based on this user input, Kodak has designed a unique new, dynamic optical
calibration tool for release in the new version 5.0 firmware. This is
being developed to address a much broader range of possible lens and scene
combinations through the implementation of this adaptive and dynamic tool.

Finally if you want to shoot at ISO 80 then do so, and pull the expoure
back in the Photodesk Software.
