Only reason I ask is that if they can't compete there, how committed will
they be to the 14n/c cameras?
I think the reasoning is that they are getting results virtually as good from the 35mm size SLR and there's room for far more. They also sell the chip they were using to many digital back manufacturers. I suspect that away from the public eye there is a "proper" flagship Kodak DCS camera under development that exceeds the quality and therefore makes a digi-back unnecessary for the majority of shooters. Surely the SLR/n & c can't be a long term solution....
