Kodak have exited the pro back market not for any technical reasons - purely business reasons. There is no doubt our pro backs were great performers, however our research tells us that DSLRs are what most people are going for so we decided to concentrate on that market. �3000 compared to �10000 is not an issue for the majority. Given the file size of 40mb compared to 48mb you have a very comparable product - provided you take care with exposure and more importantly , lens quality. By the way many of the backs are using Kodak ccds which we will continue to develop and market. Just appearing is the new 22 million pixel chip first used by Sinar and next to appear in a Phase One back.
