There was a side by side comparison test on this ( Smart Scale ) against the latest Genuine Fractel release in Digital Photographer issue 19 complete with a CD containing trial versions of both. Genuine Fractels came out on tops as far as the reviewer was concerned. I have to say neither I wasn't too impressed with either product, but they were both better than Photoshop's straight interpolation and Fred Mirana's Stair interpolation. IMHO Binuscan's Photo Retouch Pro does a better job ( admittedly to a max of 400%. Some swear by S-Spline Pro but I've never tried it so I wouldn't like to comment.
