Tell him to walk into Currys or Dixons and look at all the TV's on the
shelf.
Ask if he would buy a TV based on which showed the "correct" colour at the
time. Most people would say they wouldn't choose a TV solely with that
criteria and understand they can adjust it at home to suit their taste. Then
tell him to get his monitor calibrated so he sees the same as everyone else.
