My friend left a flashcard in a shirt pocket which then went through a washing machine. It worked perfectly afterwards. I'm using various flash cards and IBM / Hitachi Micro drives and despite one failing am happy with their performance. Check to see if the camera you use will support MicroDrives larger than 1 gb,many will not.
