Hi George - thanks for mail. I don't use any print profiles, just the settings within the print driver. The printer worked fine under OS9 and a couple of earlier versions of OSX, and is fine under XP, I just can't get any sense out of it with OSX 10.3.3.
There will be lots in the archive about this but for accurate colour and WYSIWYG, you will need to calibrate your monitor and use custom print profiles for each paper you use. It is not cheap (around �100 each) but will save you ink, wasted paper and wasted time.
