Many thanks to Tony Riley, David Hoffman and Rob Wynne-Powell for their
suggestions; when I'm feeling strong enough I'll give them a go.
Tony's technique involves using Hue/Saturation, choosing Green from the
Edit: list, using the eyedropper to pick a characteristic bit of green
and then using the 'minus eyedropper' on a variety of shades of the
correct colour hair. Sliding the Hue slider to the left then pulls out
the green.
Rod suggested using the Clone tool in color mode at around 30%.
