What am I missing?
In Photoshop, I want to Edit/Transform/Distort a selection of an image layer AND the corresponding path from which the selection was made.
Transforming a selection I can do. Transforming a path I can do. Transforming both together I cannot.
Hi Tim,
I am not sure where your problem lies.
If the path is the starting point, then the Edit/Transform will carry out whatever distortion you make and can then be used to create a selection, via the flyout in the paths palette (Make Work Path...). That selection will possess the distortion you performed on the Path.
You can also, via the Select menu, distort a selection (Transform Selection), and that can in turn be returned to a Path via the flyout in the Paths palette.
If you have both a selection present and a Path, then the Selection takes precedence and can be distorted by either menu path (pardon the pun), is that what is foxing you?
