Dear All Recent talk of archival CDs/DVDs has reminded me that I have to replenish stocks shortly and was wondering if anyone was interested in forming a buying group?
I'm looking to get a few hundred Mitsui gold CDs and about 50 DVDs. Unit prices are around 75p a disc on CDs for small quantities and prices operate on a sliding scale with orders of 1,000 costing around 55p etc. Having provisionally floated the idea with the salesman I normally deal with, he said that they would be happy to offer a rate based on a group buy. Each order would be expedited as normal but you'd have to mention the deal or perhaps buy specifically agreed products (i.e. Mitsui Gold CDs or Apple DVD-RAM). Depending on response levels, I would be prepared to shop around to get the best deal on recognised product. If you're interested, please drop me a line OFF LIST stating your requirements and how frequently you'd be repurchasing. If I can give suppliers a ballpark prediction as to order sizes and long term volume, I might be able to wheedle a better rate. Thanks Alex P.S. Hope this doesn't count as an OT Jorge. =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
