The only thing that seems to help a bit is to hoover the sensor with a straw
and me sucking like hell on the other end.
Dont cough !
A serious thought though if one uses a "straw" over the sensor and then fires a jet of
compressed air accross the open end then a ventiri effect should give a great "hoover"
action.
I had some stubborn dust on my 14n sensor and I got rid of by using a small piece of masking tape folded over(sticky out) into a soft pad and dabbed the sensor(!!!) I have only done this once as the persistant dust just would not go. This seemed to work but you must be very careful obviously.
