Guys,

I have a client who needs to print to a Mac shared printer from a number of
PC's (and mac's), preferably without having to install software (other than
possibly a printer driver) on the PC's - there are a lot of them.

The printer is attached to a Mac running OS X 10.3.4 - possibly this could
be upgraded to a server version if necessary (I'd prefer not to though). The
Mac is on the Ethernet, connected to the printer via USB. The printer in
question is using a RIP (postscript/ghost script).

One requisite is that it must be relative easy to configure on the PC's as
this will be up to the individual users, from a written guide. PC clients
will all be running Win 2000, 2003 or XP - and maybe on or two with a server
version but this is the exception rather than the rule.

If anyone have experience in the matter I'd love to hear ideas on how this
can be done (in a stable manner), preferably without third party software.

Thanks in advance
