Greetings list Recently I have had problems printing strong reds on my Epson 1290 (Lyson inks on Hahnemuehle Photo Rag 308). As my printer is yet to be custom profiled I thought I'd out source the printing, so I sent a file to Loxley Colour who produced a print on glossy conventional paper (Kodak Endura), this print had less red than my own inkjet, the reds had turned very orange which is not good for a photo of a field of poppies! (They asked for an Adobe '98 file).
If I custom profile my 1290 I expect to get stronger reds, but will they be strong enough? Are strong reds generally out of the Lyson gamet? Have any others had trouble with reds?
