I had understood that Relative rendering clipped data below the printable black of the output device if BPC was not activated, yet I am finding the something is converting L*0 to L*10 ( just as perceptual rendering , and just as relative with BPC) using relative without BPC. Is it possible that a printer profile could be always perceptual regardless of how 'the convert to profile' settings are configured? Or is there another component that I am not aware of that is remapping black?
