CIS costs may seem like a lot, given the comparison you are making.
Doubtless you would like photography to be considered as more than pressing
a button a few times? (as would I!) However, our cost savings estimate for
that model (http://www.mwords.co.uk/pages/cis/costFAQ.htm#2100ul) suggest
that with one of our inks, by the time you have used the first set of
bottles, you will have saved close to �400, with follow-on ink purchases
being around an 80% saving compared to cartridge costs. Savings using Epson
original inks from large-format carts will not be as great, but still
considerable.
