Dear List,
With the kind permission of Richard Kenwood, as this is really OFF topic, so maybe replies best off list unless we can keep it to all things digital imaging.
The problem then...
I have three OS 10.3.4 machines, all networked through Airport Extreme, all able to access t'internet (via router), no probs, all able to see each other, no probs. File sharing is switched on. When trying to access my "retouching room" from my "studio mac" I can see the machine, I can log on as a guest and use the "drop box", but I cannot log on as a user and access the hard drive directly. The password is showing as invalid, although, probably like many, I only have one password for everything, so I know I cannot have forgotten this. This is the same for all three machines in all directions.
So my question, is there a hidden admin password? Or do I have to register my macs as "authorised" to each other. I have tried looking for detailed info on this, but to no avail.
Any ideas you good people?
Incidentally, if you use camera RAW and PSCS, you've really got to have a look at Dr.Brown's Image Processor - thanks to the list, I've just discovered it - it's excellent.
Many thanks for any help,
Tim.
