Reading a manual today,something only done in emergencies :-)) I noticed that my Toshiba Laptop has a list of recommended media manufacturers for use in the DVD/CD writer. Taiyo Yuden seems to be at the top of most tester and review lists and is strongly recommended by my local supplier http://www.goldingproducts.com/ and I have to say Ive not had a bad one from them.
