It all depends on the subject and you definitions of quality.
In some subject a customer would accept it, I know for a fact that for
example a car manufacture would never accept it if it was an image
showing details of interior or bodywork.
You will use transitions and details and not have a crisp image.
Try shooting on medium format with a digital back and you will know.
Other wise I recommend using RAW file conversion and build up the file
step by step is PS.
