Edward,
I have been using a 2.2 Gb Magicstore Microdrive on my Fuji S2 for about
8 months now with no problems. I am also still using the original IBM
Microdrive I bought when the Fuji S1 was released a few years ago.
I don't think I would want to go for a 4 Gb Microdrive because if the
drive fails for whatever reason, you could potentially lose the images
of an entire job or project. Using a number of devices of smaller
capacity, albeit 1 or 2 Gb, there is at least a chance of salvaging a
proportion of the work.
The 2.2 Gb capacity is ideal for me - 58 full res 35Mb tif files or 160
RAW.
If you go to www.mymemory.co.uk you will find all the info you need
regarding 2.2 Gb compatibility, full money back guarantee if the drive
does not work with your equipment and a current price of around 120 GBP.
They also have details of a 4 Gb Microdrive for around 200 GBP if you
really need that capacity.

Snip from their site -
>Provides 2.2GB large storage capacity in industry Standard CF-II
interface and PCMCIA Type II compatibility (for PCMCIA adaptors),
suitable for a wide range of handheld devices providing reliable storage
>performance for MP3,PDA,digital still cameras, notebook PC and other
handheld devices.
>Fast 4200 RPM operation and intelligent power-saving mode
>Advanced head load/unload technology; rugged shock resistance rated at
1500G (non-operating)
>Ultra compact and light-weight, weighing only 16 grams.
>Compatible with products that accept Microdrive and CompactFlash Type
II.
>(If you purchase this product for a device that uses a microdrive and
it is not compatible, we will be happy to offer you a full refund or
exchange).

I hope this helps and I will point out that I have no association with
this company.
