Does anyone know where I can find assistance about extracting files from my new-ish Lacie 240 gb firewire drive. Its reported as corrupt by my Win 2k PC. I think I had it formatted as NTFS, but can't remember.
The same thing happened to me with my Lacie. I used Restorer2000. It found all of the files, I saved them on another hard drive, reformated the Lacie, moved the files back and it has worked fine ever since. Another popular recovery program is PhotoRescue but Restorer will give the files their original names so it's easy to find whatever you need to restore.
I didn't contact Lacie because the drive is working fine now.
