Probably too late now Francis, and I hope you got your images ok.
However if the camera has gone back you still have the raw files I hope.
As per the correspondents suggestions, use Photodesk from our web site to
process you images.
Select them all and apply the corrections and tweaks in a batch, save as a
batch to AS IS first - that is you safety net,m your neg for the file if
you like. Then you can save as Tiff or Jpegs ( choose in preferences 8 or
16 bit and the size and compression of your jpegs).
If you use Photoshop CS, and there is nothing wrong in that, do not use
the Kodak FFM that is for opening raw files in earlier versions, get rid
of it and use the Adobe plug in version 2.2.
Finally, if as you say, the camera has an upgraded sensor it will start up
as a 14nx in the small LCD.
Image quality will be the same as an SLRn.

Subject: Re: [PRODIG] DCS Pro 14N
Dear all,
I have a 14n on hire for week-end( with a view to possible purchase).
However I am having problems opening raw files on my G4 running CS. I
have downloaded the latest plugins from both Adobe and Kodak.
The file opens very slowly in CS but not with the Raw dialog box. The
file size is about 38 mgb. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions
hugely appreciated.
regards
Francis
