Just a warning that I have had a few reports from around the world that
the latest firmware I told you about last week is misbehaving a little in
the Nikon cameras.
There are apparently a couple of bugs in it that prevent the use of mirror
lock up and Longer exposure.
Naturally we are very concerned about this and Kodak is woking on it.
Everything else works ok.
The SLRc is not affected by this.
I will keep you informed of developments.
In the meantime do not change your firmware yet. If you have, no probs
unless you use those specific features.

My thanks for the honesty of your posting and my respect to you for raising your head above the parapet and my full acknowledgment that you are not responsible for this SNAFU from Rochester but could you please get the message over to whoever is running things that they are messing up our lives. I have had a 14n/nx now since they were first released and the damn thing still does not function as a reliable professional piece of kit. The latest firmware seems to have altered the Lens optimization yet again and banding is once again visible.
Having just spent over 900 on re-chipping this is not very amusing and now to have rubbish firmware being issued is PAS BON!
So please can you pass on the message that right now the word Kodak for some strange reason seems to be associated in many people's minds with other words such as "piss-up" and "brewery".
Cheers
