I'd certainly check out the Eizo monitors, i'm not sure if they produce a 17" but i'm very happy with the 21" that I have installed here.

They do, and 15 inch flat screens too. Does anyone know if their - or any of their - small screens measure up to the standard of the 21 inch?
Hi Andrew,
I'm not quite sure about this, one of the Eizo 21" screens (If I recall there are two) comes bundled with its own "ColorNavigator" software which uses the EyeOne puck for screen calibration, this is what I have and it is quite impressive, but whether it is of a different quality to the other cheaper model without the software I don't know. I suspect that as with all products it pays to check before parting with your cash, just because one model is great in the range does not mean that they all are. Others on this forum have looked at these monitors and may have experience of the smaller models and should therefore be able to offer hands on comments.
