Hello List Members,

Shooting RAW with a 1Ds, I process them with C1.

This is not constant but I often get a dark line on the edges of the picture. Sometime the dark pixels are as wide as the picture, sometimes it occurs only near to the corner on about 2/3 cm at 100 % display.

The length is constant and about one or two pixels. This is for a long time and seemed to come with the C1 release 3.

I had processed the same RAW using CR and didn't get the same flaws.

Could this come from the cards or the camera?

It's a hassle to have to remove them in the sky and impossible to remove them on subjects with details like buildings....

Did other 1Ds/C1 users experienced the same dark lines? its easy to confuse them with the border of the window when they are as long as the picture, but you see them when you use the clone stamp or the healing brush. Any way to correct them? (others than cropping)

One other subject I would like to rise is the pixel size of the pictures processed, as Bob Croxford already stated, the 1Ds specs quote 4 064 x 2 704 files and this is the result I get from CR, while C1 produces 4 070 x 2 710 pixels, six pixels more on each side... Not a big issue but...
Regards.
