Good for you! > We all have our own standards, and the use of 'good enough' as a pejorative > does not help. 'Good enough' is not an expression I actually use, I prefer 'beyond clever'. > Yes, I enjoyed seeing my first print appearing on a blank sheet of paper, we > also only had a black and white TV at home and no hot water or inside > toilet. All good and well but the world moves on... I'm not sure what you mean by this.......maybe you can tell me off-line. > I wonder how my own interest in photography would have changed, had I had > access to digital when I was a kid? When I think of some of the hassles of darkroom work, > I really don't miss it that much at all :-) No, I don't miss darkroom work either. Sheer mindless drudgery - and I was very good at it. Problem for me is I cannot do with digital what I do everyday with film - B&W to be precise.....and is why I am preoccupied with finding enough wonga to acquire a lifetime stash of Pan F+ before the bean counters trash Ilford. Anyone out there with a fridge full of Pan F+ going spare, let me know:) William Curwen =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
