Richard, thank you, but I have the latest RAW update on CS. I should make it clear that both CS and DPP were absolutely fine until a couple of days ago but now neither will open nor process a CR2 file from my camera.
To date I have tried the following; . Removed both batteries for a half an hour or so. . Restored settings by simultaneously pressing the two buttons on the rear. . Reinstalled the latest firmware. . Reformatted CF card on another Canon DSLR (Not a 1DMKII) and used a Microdrive. So I am now at a loss to know what to try. I would rather not have to send it back to Canon, with the hassle that entails. Any further suggestions are very welcome. Best Regards, Graham.
