I guess this post got lost in the system so here it is again.
Richard, thank you, but I have the latest RAW update on CS. I should make it
clear that both CS and DPP were absolutely fine until a couple of days ago
but now neither will open nor process a CR2 file from my camera.
To date I have tried the following;
Removed both batteries for a half an hour or so.
Restored settings by simultaneously pressing the two buttons on the
rear.
Reinstalled the latest firmware.
Reformatted CF card on another Canon DSLR (Not a 1DMKII) and used a
Microdrive.
Reinstalled Adobe RAW Plugin, even deleted Adobe preference file.
So I am now at a loss to know what to try. I would rather not have to send
it back to Canon, with the hassle that entails.
Any further suggestions are very welcome.
