Hi My name is Chris Christou and I work as a researcher at University College London on projects requiring the use of digital images that serve as textures in virtual environment simulations. These are used for architectural walkthroughs by designers, architects etc. and for virtual museum exhibits (e.g. The Mummy exhibition at the British Museum). I am a keen photographer and shoot with a Hasselblad and scan from negatives.
My training is in visual sciences which includes human studies of image perception and image understanding (e.g. visual cues, form, shading, colour perception and colour science). As well as this I have over 15 years experience with digital image formats, image conversion, image processing and computer graphics. all the best Chris -- Dr Chris Christou Department of Computer Science University College London Gower Street, London WC1E 6BT, UK Phone: 07903 576 557 =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
