Beware that the iBooks maximum resolution is 1024 x 768, and if a 17 " or
larger display is attached they usually have a native resolution of 1280 x
1024 or more. When a flat panel display is run at a lower resolution the
screen image suffers considerable degradation. I recently saw a 14" iBook
connected to a Formac 17" VGA flat panel,it looked awful. For a sample of
what to expect, drop the resolution of your iBook down to 800 x 600 and you
will see what I mean. I think you will find 15" flat panel displays that run
at 1024 x 768, but then you don't gain much space over the iBook's display.
I had a quick look for the spec of the LCDVM91, but couldn't find it.
