Probably off-topic, but concerns transfer of digital shots!
Dear Mitch
Since its about digital transfer I am sure we are OK for a moment<G> so I will respond. As a newbie to the wonderful world of ADSL (six weeks approx.) I did quite a lot of research before deciding on which ISP to go with.
We needed flexibility and above all else, reliability....we went with Eclipse. From the ADSL guide you will see that Eclipse.co.uk has been a very consistent performer over some time. They are good to deal with...Oh what a change....and their "Flex" service really works excellently. You can be signed up on a lower speed and thus cheaper option, but have the option to up the speed in steps as required and for the duration that suits you.
There is no need to remember about setting it back because this happens automatically. Naturally there is an additional charge for the time you use the higher speed but its only pence per hour. The service will cost you a 50 set up fee and the cost of your modem/router. Do get the router as it soooo much safer than to rely on a fire wall to stop nasties. Give me a call if you want to talk about it.
Cheers
