I am trying to print an image 39cmx 107cm on an Epson 4000 using the Epson driver on an Epson 4000. The custom paper size I have made is 42cmx115cm.The roll of paper is 43.2cmx12m Everything appears OK in print with preview. The result is a print starting three quarters of the way into the image and only half the width of the paper.
I have tried the formats - Roll paper Banner,Roll paper Borderless retain size, and roll paper Borderless Banner but the result is always the same. Over an hour on the phone to the very helpful man from Epson did not solve it, in fact he was getting the same result at his end.He has had to go away to confer with others. I assume others on this list are successfully printing images of this size without a rip , if so have they had to overcome this difficulty? I am using a mac with 10.3.5 and photoshop CS and the driver version is 1.9a.
