I'm excited by all the possibilities that are now available in the digital market, and as such would like to ask for some advise regarding the best kit for travel assignments. I used to use all Canon - Eos1's and L-series lenses, and from what I can work out it still looks like the best way forward!
Olympus E1 might be worth looking into, considering price for quality ratio. I have used one for wedding photography this summer ranging from Finland to Scotland to Ireland to Cyprus, but mostly Midlands UK, with my assistant shooting on Olympus E10 ( worth now about �300 on eBay!). The cameras are lightweight, which makes a difference when on location / airports etc.
I have no association with Olympus, just a happy customer.
