Dear List,

Has anyone had experience opening - or not - a CD on a Mac created in a
programme called "Archive Creator"? It's a Windows based programme that
puts an archive with an html index across spanned CD's and according to the
developers is supported by both Windows and Macintosh platforms and does not
require any special software to be on the computer except for Internet
Explorer or Netscape Internet Browsers!

However Mac based clients are unable to open the html index (i'm not sure
which OS versions they have) getting a message that the application
programme cannot be found. I only have access at present to a G3 PowerBook
running OS 8.5 on which I installed the Joliet Volume Access extension. It
now shows the files as named under Win XP but still refuses to run the
index.html.

Any thoughts as ever appreciated.

regards,

md.
