The printer 8500 makes a print in 85 seconds. It is down to the image file
size and computer processor how quickly it is recieved.
For instance a small jpeg in a new powerful pc is sent very speedily but a
large 40mb raw file using a mac is a lot slower. The printer does what is
says on the box.

It works when a file is completely recieved. However a much quicker way
would be to let the printer work after recieving data for each layer at a
time. In this way we could gert a print outr in 90 seconds overall.
More on this on the 27th (the eve of PhotoKina) could be VERY interesting.
