Neill, When a bacth is run it needs to open each file in turn. There are two options: 1. If recording an "Open file" in the action, the command will (attempt to) open the file recorded when run, unles you check the option "Override Action "Open" Commands" in the File/Automate/Batch dialog box. 2. Don't record an "Open file" command in the batch. The files in the chosen folder are automatically opened in turn. If you are processing raw files with Camera Raw, avoid stopping at the Camera Raw dialog box by using option 1 above. (Having set the details for a sample file of the group to be run).
