Michael Forget the manual, just use the help file! I wouldn't worry about it. Save with either option and the files should open just fine on both platforms. I think the option is also sticky. Just leave it on the IBM PC option - if anyone does have a problem opening your TIFFs, it's more likely to be a PC. Macs will cope with either option but, as I said, it really doesn't matter these days.
