I have had no probs with BT Broadband in rural Leicestershire, under �25/month. Welcome!
As an imaging professional I would avoid AOL and its automatic image compression. Not sure about the technicalities, or whether AOL still does that, maybe one of the big boys on the list will enlighten us about current AOL practice.
