Paul

Many thanks for this, and also to David, Graham, Tim and Mike for their
suggestions.

The original question was OBO a friend who is just starting on the digital
path and is trying to minimise expenditure. Hence the request for
freeware/shareware solutions to this particular batch processing problem.

My advice to him was to upgrade to PS CS and use Adobe CR with Russell
Brown's batch processor. For ~150 you get access to new tools AND a 'free'
top notch RAW processor thrown in!! <BG>

I know that there's been a lot of debate on this (and other) lists as to the
relative merits of C1 vs ACR but, to my mind, the PS7 - CS upgrade road
gives you many more 'bangs per buck'. I went down this route some months
ago, and am extremely pleased with ACR's output, but there's always more
than one way to skin a cat in this game!! I've used C1 SE and was impressed
by the quality of o/p. Horses for courses, as they say.

Again, my thanks to all who responded.
