Dear Mike
I've tried several times to make an action for this but failed.
Do you know of a resource for actions or somewhere where I can learn properly how to make them?
Please don't say RTFM, it hasn't helped.
Dear Jonathon
I'm not sure of your reasons for wanting to do this in PS.
I used Graphic Converter (bundled with OSX)
or www.lemkesoft.com
make "convert to" and "convert from" files on your hard-drive this will makes it much easier.
Sit back and watch.

Then you can check them for dust etc before using another batch process created under <Actions> to convert them into whatever format files you require.
Does anyone know of any software, similar to Dr Brown's Image Processor,
that can batch process volumes of RAW files automatically in PS7 (Mac OSX
10.3) and convert them to TIFF/JPEG/PSD?
A while ago I asked much the same question and was directed to Dr Brown but after looking at it IMHO is was simpler to do it all thru PS. It really works very effectively and aaprt from dust-busting and reworking the odd file which does not work with my chosen adjustment levels etc it all runs very happily on its own.
