As the Hillbillies used to say "Gold,liquid gold that is"
The fact is that we "Pros" are an insignificant number of users of Epson 
desktop products.
That they are good is not in question but because we,collectively,have little 
impact on
their market we are unlikely to see a change in their fees for ink.
Production of the printers in the UK has , to the best of my knowledge,stopped.
They are now  all made in low cost/wage countries.
I believe the UK factory now only makes consumables !

 At �800 per litre  who can blame them
