That's basically true, however Data Rescue might still be able to see the
files on the drive so long as there hasn't been much disk activity since
trashing.

You'll need a separate drive to recover your files to. The demo will allow
you to scan a drive and (I think) recover1 file. If it works and recovers
one of your deleted files, buy it.
