When I installed my Epson 2100, I found the printer straight from the box to produce weak prints.
They were not as good as my 1160 for colour.
So decided to get a bespoke profile for it and it cured the problem.
Shame that I foolishly ruined the whole experience by installing a CIS system before taking advice from Neil Bartsow.

I first tried printing on Epson Premium Semigloss using the canned profile
for the 4000 and what I get looks as if not enough ink is being laid down, I
tried it on the 2100 with the canned profile for the 2100 and it was
acceptable then accidentally tried it again on the 2100 using the 4000
profile and it came out almost exactly like the print from the 4000. Does
this mean I could a naf set of profiles, I also tried printing it on the
photo rag on the 4000 and it looks to have the same problem, not enough ink.
