Hi Tony Isn't this change of colour temp a mired shift. There used to be tables that allowed you to calculate the filter value needed achieve a chosen colour balance. With bibble I found the colour temp of the image had to be shifted to 10000k to produce the approximate colour. This would equate to a shift of approx 5000k from 'daylight'. Obviously the closer the capture k value to 180, the less the shift required. To dial in a chosen k value the start point would be the controlling factor. Similar to problems involved in profiling a digital camera using changing light sources. I haven't had time to check to see if bibble works on jpegs.
