How long before they start using the same excuse that the
government does when it spies on its own citizens: "If you aren't
doing anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about! Trust us!" ;-)
That's exactly the position they take now: "If your copy of Windows is
legitimate, then you shouldn't need to care/worry about this."
I thought of Charlie Coleman's prediction many many moons ago that
Windows would disable certain features remotely. If this article is
correct, then indeed Charlie was right all along.
