I've done the math, and by Switching to CF bulbs all through the house,
I'll break even in 3 years, and make money after that. Sooner,
actually, since they keep subsidizing the sale of them - the local
hardware shop carries them on sale twice a year for 99 cents a bulb,
same as a regular bulb, and I go and snatch up all I can. The local
govt subsidizes that a few times a year.
