I am serious about this. There is a lot of talk about strong economy
and assorted positive aspects, but tell the truth, have you
experienced them?
I mean like unemployment is down (or so they say). Are they counting
the people who have used up all their benefits and can no longer
file a claim? Or did those people magically become "employed"
because they are not claiming unemployment benefits?
Hi Hal!
Back in the bad old C-man days, they were saying things were great - and
in tech they were (pre-y2k), but I was starving then. Now that Bush and
Co. are saying things are great, I am still starving.
There are always some people who are doing well, and always people who
are starving. It just depends on who you consider to be worthy of your
concern. The New Yorkers who come down here seem to hate everyone equally.
Regards,
Pete
